This brief report provides an overview of Croatia's children in out-of-home care and legal framework, and an analysis of the overall situation. "Family Based Care for Vulnerable Children" is part of the project "Each Child Needs a Family." The objective is to train professionals to provide quality assistance. Ultimately the goal is to assist families who are at risk of having the children placed in out-of-home care and to strengthen parenting skills of those who have already had their children removed. The document also provides a description of project implementation and outcomes.
