UNICEF is seeking a consultant to develop amended and new laws on foster care in Suriname.
Scope and Methodology
The consultant will briefly review the national (draft) legislations on foster care and other related national and international legislation and policies and involve a broad range of stakeholders for the development of amended or new law on foster care by conduction of interviews and focus group sessions when applicable.
Major Tasks to be accomplished:
Under de direct supervision of the of the Child Protection Officer and in close cooperation with the “Commission on foster care” established by the Ministry of Justice and Police, the consultant will up-date and adjust the draft legislation on foster care in Suriname.
