This study aimed to describe the perception of caregivers and the role of professionals in the process of family reintegration and adoption of children and adolescents with disabilities in a host institution in Belém/PA, Brazil.

OBJETIVO
El Seminario de RELAF tiene como fin fortalecer los procesos de desinstitucionalización mencionados e impulsar otros semejantes en el resto de los países. En el año 2005, en la I RAADH se aprobó la Iniciativa Niñ@Sur cuya meta general es articular los esfuerzos nacionales y promover acuerdos regionales orientados al cumplimiento de los instrumentos internacionales de derechos humanos universales y regionales como piso mínimo de derechos humanos de niños, niñas y adolescentes. En este sentido, uno de los ejes planteados es el fortalecimiento de los sistemas de protección de derechos humanos de niños, niñas y adolescentes.
