La situation des droits humains en Haïti s'est fortement détériorée au cours de la période, principalement en raison de la violence endémique des gangs.

The present report is submitted pursuant to Human Rights Council resolution 52/39. It provides an overview of the human rights situation in Haiti.
The human rights situation in Haiti has sharply deteriorated over the period, mainly due to endemic gang violence. The report highlights the main developments related to rule of law institutions, the police, justice, and penitentiary systems. Some progress has been made in this domain, but challenges persist.

This document serves as a guiding framework for those involved in the development of comprehensive national Care Systems as a pillar of social protection in Latin American and the Caribbean. The authors believe that these systems should be designed from a human rights perspective, with particular emphasis on mainstreaming the gender perspective to achieve care models co-responsible between the State, the market, the community, and families, and between men and women.
Au-delà des soins institutionnels fournit un cadre aux gouvernements pour développer leur propre feuille de route pour la réforme et la désinstitutionnalisation du système de protection et de garde des enfants. Nous espérons qu'il inspirera une conversation, guidera le dialogue interministériel et interprofessionnel, soutiendra les groupes multidisciplinaires à tous les niveaux pour encadrer leur propre évaluation et planifier leur propre feuille de route pour le changement.

Across Latin America and the Caribbean, countries have been reforming their child protection and care systems in line with the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC) and the 2009 UN Guidelines for the Alternative Care of Children (hereafter, the UN Guidelines).
