This study was aimed at filling a gap in information on Commune Committees for Women and Children (CCWCs) and their function. CCWCs were established in 2004 in Cambodia to serve as advisory bodies to local Commune Councils. CCWCs “are tasked with planning, support, advocacy, awareness raising and monitoring” of issues related to children and women.
