Changing Futures is a website for young people made by young people with experience of Tusla [child welfare] services in Ireland. The website offers platforms for children ages 10-15 years old and 16-18 years old and takes them through some of the things they can expect as they enter into care. The website shares the stories of young people involved in the care system or "getting help from Tusla services" and the details of their experiences to help other young people become more familiar with the process.

This conference, hosted by Tearfund Ireland, will explore the topic of Care Reform and why volunteering in orphanages is changing. This conference will take place on Zoom and will be fully accessible, with live captioning and International Sign Language interpretation. It will bring together expert practitioners, care leavers - individuals who have grown up in orphanages in the Global South and are now calling for reform, disability experts and advocacy experts in the Global South.
To facilitate Barnahus and similar setups to hear about how children experience their service, PROMISE has developed a Child Participation Tool. The tool focuses on the child’s experience of Barnahus, including the travel to Barnahus, their experience in Barnahus, coming home from Barnahus and potential follow up or mid-to-long term treatment in Barnahus or by a mobile Barnahus team.
