This study analyses the incidence of human trafficking among people travelling along the ‘Eastern Mediterranean route,’ the ‘Balkan route’ and the ‘Central Mediterranean route’; factors of resilience to human trafficking and other abuses; and factors of vulnerability to human trafficking and other abuses. The study reveals the particular vulnerability of unaccompanied minors to child exploitation and abduction and highlights key recommendations for addressing human trafficking along these routes.

In this webinar presented by RISE Learning Network, Omattie Madray and Zenainda Rosales presented an extensive study recently carried out which analyzed over 100 documents and conducted over 20 interviews to gain insights on practices of organizations supporting and caring for boys affected by sexual violence in their recovery process. They looked into how social norms around gender influence care for boys affected and discussed what is needed to ensure quality alternative care.
Introduction
This report is an analysis of the overall findings from the research project on Haitian child domestic workers. The research was initiated by UNICEF, the Haitian Ministère des Affaires Sociales et du Travail (MAST), the Institut du Bien-Etre Social et de Recherches (IBESR), ILO, IOM, the IRC and the Terre des Hommes Lausanne Foundation. Additional organisations joined during the course of research, and eventually a group of 28 different organisations supported the research and made up a Technical Committee.

Domestic minor human trafficking (HT) is a growing social justice concern, particularly among youth in the child welfare system. This paper uses administrative data to describe the characteristics and experiences of a population of youth in the child welfare system considered to be at particularly high risk of victimization: youth who have run away from foster care.
