This article describes the development of an information system, built in order to monitor the data gathered in the context of a pilot project for early child protection interventions with unaccompanied minors. Others may be displaced and separated, or taken from families against their will for exploitation of various kinds. We aimed to evaluate a screening programme for infection in unaccompanied asylum seeking children and young people against national guidance and to describe the rates of identified infection in the cohort.
