This document presents an overview of the first version of the EU monitoring framework for the European Child Guarantee (ECG). It was developed by the Indicators’ Sub-Group (ISG) of the Social Protection Committee (SPC) and the European Commission, and endorsed by the SPC in November 2023. It includes first a general presentation of the framework and then a more detailed presentation of its sections (with some relevant data), and a last section identifying the gaps that remain to be filled at a later stage.

The National Social Protection Policy provides a framework for delivering social protection coherently, effectively and efficiently in a way that is holistic and properly targeted. It defines an understanding of social protection and a social protection floor within a Ghanaian context. The framework is in six (6) parts consisting of an introduction; the country context; a situation analysis of social protection; the policy focus and direction; the implementation framework and institutional relationships. Since 1995, the Government of Zambia has developed national policies in several specific areas of health. This document, however, outlines an overarching National Health Policy for Zambia. The Policy has been developed within the context of the Vision 2030 and has taken into consideration other relevant national, regional and global health related policies, protocols and strategic frameworks, including the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs).
