In this webinar hosted by the Center for the Study of Social Policy, experts discussed how family support professionals and organizations have adapted to serve families during the COVID-19 outbreak, and what we are learning that we will carry forward from this time.
The panel included experts from the Center for the Study of Social Policy, the Children’s Trust Fund Alliance, Be Strong Families, and other national and state-level partners, followed by a 30-minute Q&A.
Save the Children has developed these key messages, on Parenting without Violence, which can be adapted to a particular context. This resource was produced as part of the child protection COVID-19 response to protect children in their homes.

The CPMS WG is launching a new webinar series to introduce the new standards in the 2019 edition of the CPMS. This manual was developed to support CHILDLINE however it can be used by anyone supporting children affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, including parents and caregivers. The manual is activity-based and so minimal supervision or guidance is needed. There are activities for two age groups – ages six to ten and 11 to 19. In the context of COVID-19, this manual focuses on psychosocial care of children and prevention of violence in spaces where children stay (child care institutions, families, temporary isolation facilities, NGO shelters, etc.)
