In collaboration with the National Department of Social Development (DSD), UNICEF has conducted an Audit of Unaccompanied and Separated Migrant Children in Alternative Care (Child and Youth Care Centers and Foster Care). UNICEF entered into a partnership agreement with the South African Red Cross Society (SARCS) to conduct the audit in nine provinces.
