Children under the age of 18 years constitute 57.4% of Uganda’s 30.7 million people (UNHS, 2009/2010). Recognising the need for coordination and consistency in Government interventions for children, the Government of Rwanda, through the Ministry of Gender and Family Promotion (MIGEPROF) initiated the development of the Integrated Child Rights Policy, a comprehensive national document, detailing Rwanda’s vision and commitment to all children.
