Abstract
This article provides a review of indicators of child well-being in the six Gulf countries (Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates), focusing on well-being in six domains: physical health, behavioral adjustment, psychological well-being, social relationships, safety, and cognitive well-being. The purpose of the review is to provide an overview of how children in the Gulf countries are faring in these six domains in an effort to provide a framework for child well-being in the Gulf countries. Organisée par le Bureau Permanent de la Haye, une formation internationale a eu lieu les 8 et 9 Décembre 2015 en Jordanie.
45 Experts de Bahreïn, Jordanie, Maroc et Tunisie ainsi que d'Allemagne, du Canada et de l'Angleterre y compris des membres du Bureau Permanent ont échangé à propos de la pertinence d'un certain nombre de conventions de la Haye concernant la région du Moyen-Orient Afrique du Nord. Peu de temps après, une formation a été donnée pour les juges en Albanie au sujet des conflits familiaux transfrontaliers.
